You guys are sqeezed into 8' wide hallway, and maybe 9 or 10' tall.
Enough to fight... You're facing away from the door, Bargle is closest to the back of the party. The hallway stretches behind him into the darkness.
"Darokin needs that money," says Prudence. "They have nothing, they will lose their city again soon, so what good did you do them?"
"Leave now." says Bargle.
"Not yet," says Dilvish
"There is something worth more to me than all that treasure," offers Bargle. "You bring me the Book of Darkness and the Book of Thorns, both magical tomes, and I will give you all your treasure back."
"And where would they be?" asks Dilvish
"The King of Alfheim, Maximus the Black has the Book of Darkness. The Book of Thorns is somewhere with one of the Beast's generals."
"We don't have time for this nonsense," says Raphael
"Agreed." says Prudence forming her Ironheart bow...
Bargle pulls out a dagger. "Don't even think about it," he says "You're outmatched already."
"Enough talk!" shouts Thoran as he charges Bargle.
Bargle throws his dagger at Naomi, nicking her in the shoulder (1).
Naomi draws her sword and runs up too.
Dilvish casts a spell, but it didn't seem to have any effect (charm person)
Raphael casts a spell, but it didn't seem to have any effect (hold person)
Leanna fires her pegasus rod at Bargle, but the lightning bolt dissipates when it gets near him.
Rydia casts a spell.
Tomei casts bless on Naomi and Thoran.
Prudence fires an arrow at Bargle, missing.
Lief....

"Open the gates!" shouts the King. The men force the gates open. On the other side you see 20 shadow elves, ready to greet you. Everyone charges in, while the shadow elves cast spells. A few lightning bolts fly off at you, while the other spells you can't tell what they did.

Okay did you only want to fire one shot then?
If any looked like wizards (i.e. wore robes) or clerics, or if they had missile weapons, then i'd fire more.
