"I was going to ask you for some help," you say to the master cleric.
"But first, about the Sword of Chaos," he interrupts. "I have heard rumors that it has not been destroyed, and that you have been seen with it. I was hoping this is not true, and that the sword has not affected your mind." He points the the Sword of Chaos at the side, "Give it to me now, and we can destroy it. Then I will help you retrieve your items."

Well I'm getting D&D going again. Currently Morpheus is helping to clear the old messed up rubble away to build a new temple. But most of the time, he is practicing his jestering skills and getting on Naomi's nerves. Let me know if you're having Morpheus do anything...

While you are eating, you notice Fleetwood getting drunk at the bar. He stumbles off to another bar.
"Are you going to be in the archery and wrestling tournaments," questions Leanna as your food arrives.
Spicy boar special! Yum yum.
Being a magic-user, Leanna will opt not to be in the archery tournament, but maybe you should discuss your strategies about the wrestling tournament some time.

Cool. Okay, I wanna treat her to a nice night..take the single room and have a nice dinner.

The Clerics of Alfheim administer your wounds. It is generally assumed that Vanessa made off with Baltar's items because she never returned.
Sometimes a troll or orc attacks someone from the town, you hope that Baltar's minions don't get out of control.
You and Leanna get away from the crowds and find yourself at a small inn called The Cracked Sword.
It has 4 beds in single rooms at 84cp a night, 17 beds in double rooms at 49cp a night and 37 beds in common rooms at 7cp a night.
Main Courses
Duck bake Beef bake Spicy Boar special
Puddings
Apricot Sorbet Cherry Surprise
Drinks
Plain Stout Standard Surprise Plain Bitter
There are 13 tables in the main taproom.

As you are haggling, you see the dwarven king pass into a bar followed by a very drunken Fleetwood.
The man is happy to accept 2 gp for his cloak. He goes off to join the festivities.
You put on the cloak. Crap, it smells like sheep and filth, you're not sure which is stronger.

Leave the fight area. I didn't keep track of the spells, but i'm pretty sure I cast atleast 2 invisibilities, a charm person and haste. I'm glad I made it back to town in time. I was afrid i'd miss out. Take some food. Find someone with a hooded cloak (or robe if necessary) and talk to them. Explain that i'm a wizard and i'm invisible because i'm about to arrest some orcs and trolls for murder. Ask if they have any information on who killed them and what it was over. Offer to pay them twice the cloak's worth.

Did I turn myself visisble again since the match? If so, cast invisibility again and check out what the noise is.
I don't think you cast any spells so you should still be invisible. Just using the rod, etc. won't make you visible unless you attack someone.
It is an orc in rusty-red armor who is wandering about. It seems to be coming toward you, but then suddenly turns around as 4 novice fighters come toward it from Alfheim. It growls at them. They try to go around and avoid it, but it attacks them and a fight starts.
After that, try and find my way back to the city. Now, like I said, find a familiar place in the city that is not near any roads. Start moving into the forest, but make sure I keep moving in a straight line and don't go too far. Once i'm far enough away to where I can't see any Aflhiem buildings, find a log or something and try and wedge my bags full of stuff under it. Then cover it with leaves and branches. Taking only my equipped items, and head for the nearest taylor.
Alfheim has only one major roadway, otherwise there are paths all around the city, enough to confuse anyone. They don't all go to different areas though, most of them circle around and join into other paths.
You decide to go counter-clockwise around the city towards the northeastern part of the city. You notice the sun is going down. You hear alot of partying going on in the city. The smell of cook-outs fills the air. You try to go as directly northeast of the city as possible, and find a suitable place to hide your stuff. You put a few big rocks around the log and underbrush to keep it from being disturbed, and to be able to recognize it later.
The sky is very dark and you can hardly see as you start back. Did you keep track of all the spells you cast so far? Did you try casting charm person on Baltar before?
In the city, it seems that everyone is having the time of their lives. You notice some of Baltar's minions, orcs and trolls, have killed some of the townspeople. You don't think they are well under control.
Most of the Bazaar and Trading Posts have closed down for the night, they are already starting to party. You doubt you'll be able to find any businesses open right now. You see people playing games in the street, re-enacting battles, playing chess, enjoying the free food, etc. You pass some gypsies which are putting on a carnival show. Noise also issues forth from several bars.
